Group freediving lessons
in New York City

Train alongside other divers in a small, structured group — built for people who like consistency, community, and the energy of shared progress. All sessions at St. Bart's pool, Midtown.

45-minute sessions 8-week batches Small groups, capped low Group trial session available

How group training works

Group lessons run in batches of 8 weekly sessions, 45 minutes each, in small groups capped low per pool — small enough that every diver gets real coaching, large enough that the water feels alive. You train the same fundamentals the sport is built on: breathing, relaxation, static and dynamic apnea, equalization, buddy procedure — progressing week by week with the same people.

Try it first: the group trial session

Join a single group session before committing to a full 8-week batch. Meet the instructor, feel the format, see if the group energy is yours.

Who it's for

  • Beginners who prefer a shared, lower-pressure learning environment
  • Improving freedivers who want regular, structured water time
  • Anyone training toward certification — the group format is a full course path

The group path to certification

Molchanovs Level 1 and Level 2 can be completed through group lessons — same curriculum, same certification, plus a cohort that trains together. Many divers find the group is what keeps them in the water.
